Canvas Painting

This class is dedicated to creating beautiful masterpieces on stretched canvas. Students will use acrylics to paint any subject that interests them. Guided by the instructor, young artists will study brush technique, color theory, and color mixing to produce frame-worthy works of art. Whimsical, abstract, landscape, or pet portrait; it's the students choice.

Just Clay
Kids love clay! Working with clay allows for sensory development, fine motor
dexterity, self expression and creative problem solving. In the Just Clay class
we will be creatine fun, functional and decorative sculptures as we hone
our spacial awareness, controlled dexterity, and creative problem solving.

Just Drawing
Just as you need to learn the alphabet before you can write a novel,
drawing is the foundation of all artmaking. Students will be working
from observation and imagination to hone their skills and develop
their "artist eye". A variety of classical media will aid in our exploration
of value, perspective, contour drawing and more.

​Classic Kid Art
Jump start your child's creativity and critical thinking.
Children study masterpieces while they have fun creating their own!
1 hour per week throughout the Fall and Spring semesters.

Ages 3 to 14
These classes offer creative experiences where children learn art appreciation,
history and culture while developing basic skills in 2- and 3- dimensional media.
During the two semesters students will work 2- and 3-dimensionally on a variety
of projects including a still life, landscape, self-portrait, animal art,
non-objective art, and clay sculpture.
Fall Semester: September 3 - December 21 (Thanksgiving Nov.25-29) - $380
Spring Semester: January 8 - May 16 (Spring Break March 16-21) - $490

Join us for 2 hours of Saturday afternoon fun as
we create an art project based on the theme of the month.
Workshops meet from 2:30-4:30 on one Saturday a month.
