September 8: Pets & Their People
Whether furry, scaly, hopping, or slithering, we all adore our pets. Explore paintings at the Meadows Museum that include the animals we love. Then, use acrylic paint to immortalize your furry (or not so furry) friend in the Meadows Museum’s studio with educators from Kid Art Dallas.
October 6: Self-Portrait & Stories
What can you learn about someone just by looking? In the galleries, discover how artists put clues in their work that tell stories about the people depicted. Then, tell your own story in the Meadows Museum’s studio with Kid Art Dallas. Create a stunning self-portrait with watercolor and pastel that includes clues that tells your story.
November 3: Angels
What do you think an angel might look like? Discover how some artists answered this question in the Meadows Museum galleries. Then head to the Meadows Museum’s studio to answer the question yourself. Join Kid Art Dallas instructors to create a beautiful angel using watercolor and construct an ornate golden frame to complete your artwork.
$55 per session; $40 for museum members. Register online: Eventbrite
